Poll Information

The civic election will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2006. The hours of voting on Election Day are from 8:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Please visit the City of Saskatoon website for complete details.

Polling Stations

Advance Polls

If you are unable to vote on election day, you may vote in an Advance Poll, which will be located in Committee Room E, Ground Floor, City Hall. The best way to enter City Hall is through Door No. 1, opposite the Post Office. Several parking meters on Fourth Avenue adjacent to the building will be hooded for the use of voters. On Saturday and after 5:00 p.m. voters may also use the staff parking lot off of Fourth Avenue.

Mobile Polls

City Council has established a Mobile Poll in order to accommodate voters who are unable to leave their residence because of physical disability or limited mobility, as well as their resident caregivers. The Mobile Poll will be held on Election Day, Wednesday, October 25, 2006.

If you wish to use this service, you need to complete an application, and file it with the City Clerk’s Office by no later than Friday, October 20, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. You will be then be advised of the time of day an election official will visit your home to take your vote.

Special Polls

Voting at Special Care Homes will take place on October 18, 2006. These Special Polls are also considered to be Advance Polls. Anyone in the ward in which the Special Poll is located may vote there.
